"I make invisible overload visible with soothing curiosity and a spark of permission."

You haven't stopped caring. You've stopped having anything left to give. I help purpose-driven humans build Sustainable Ambition through the SPARK Framework™: not by pushing harder, but by starting exactly where you are and building from there: steadily, gently, and in real life. Because thriving shouldn't cost you everything.

I did everything right.
And still hit rock bottom.

I spent most of my life being the person everyone expected me to be. I climbed the corporate ladder in the legal world, hit every milestone, and excelled at every role handed to me. I was reliable, capable, and very, very good at holding it together.

From the outside, it looked like I had it all figured out. From the inside, I was running on empty and had no idea how to stop.

"A few years ago, I hit rock bottom. I didn't know who I was or what I was worth anymore."

I finally told the truth to my family. Completely vulnerable. Terrified they would leave. I said the things I had been swallowing for years, the things I had convinced myself weren't allowed to be said out loud.

They didn't leave. They loved me back to life.

And in the weeks that followed, something unexpected happened. Every woman I talked to responded the same way: "Me too." Not one or two. Every single one. It was quiet and it was immediate and it cracked something open in me.

I signed up for a coaching certification for my own mental health: not because I had a business plan, but because I desperately needed the tools for myself. The Soothing Spark opened organically from there. Because what I was learning was too important to keep to myself.

Now I give a voice to the invisible struggle. I share what I've learned: the real stuff, the hard stuff, the stuff you're not supposed to say out loud: with women who are suffering in silence while being everything to everyone around them.

You don't have to earn your way back to yourself. You just have to be willing to start.

The things I'll never
negotiate on.

These aren't just brand words. They're the principles I've built my own life around, sometimes the hard way.

01
Support Before Strategy
You don't need a better plan. You need to feel supported first. I will always meet you where you are before I hand you a tool.
02
Capacity Before Change
Real change requires something to hold it. We build your capacity first. Skipping this step is exactly why change hasn't stuck before.
03
Integrity Before Urgency
I do what is right, not what is fast. No pressure tactics. No manufactured scarcity. Just honest, consistent support that respects your autonomy.
04
Family Before Work
Everything here is designed to work inside your actual life: with kids, with chaos, with the good days and the ones where dinner burns. I have a family I'm actively choosing to protect. I will never ask you to sacrifice yours for growth.
05
Awareness Before Action
Lasting change starts with noticing, not doing. We slow down long enough to see what's actually happening before we move.
06
Stability Before Growth
Growth built on an unstable foundation doesn't hold. We build steady first, then we build up. That order is the methodology. It is not negotiable.

I normalize before
I teach. Every single time.

I am not going to hand you a productivity framework and tell you to push harder. I'm going to sit with you in the thing first. Name it. Validate it. Make sure you know that what you're feeling makes complete sense.

My coaching style is warm, direct, slightly sarcastic, and emotionally safe. I'll say the thing you've been thinking but didn't know you were allowed to say out loud. And I'll deliver it in a way that lands like a best friend, not a lecture.

I'm a soft-hearted smartass. Depending on who you ask.

I lead with curiosity, not judgment. I'll ask the question you haven't asked yourself yet. And I'll meet you at S and P before I ever ask you to climb to K.

I am
A capacity builder
I am not
A motivator
I am
A stabilizer
I am not
A productivity coach
I am
A permission-giver
I am not
A quick-fix provider
I am
A nervous system support guide
I am not
A therapist

The stuff that makes me
actually me.

Because you should know who you're spending time with. I'm 41, I live in the Greater Milwaukee Area with my husband Bruce and our two boys Jake (15) and Noah (12). And here's the real stuff.

Currently fueled by
  • Cold brew or iced dirty chai (every morning, extra large cup)
  • Iced tea (green, black, spiced... I'll drink it all but hold the sugar)
  • Chips & dip (sorry, I don't share)
  • Podcasts and Audible books (because I'm in my car more than I'm home: thank you, travel sports)
  • Baggy pants and oversized hoodies all day if I can get away with it
📺
On repeat
  • Schitt's Creek, New Girl, Grace & Frankie (always)
  • Dawson's Creek (no apologies)
  • Outlander (IYKYK)
  • P!nk, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift (2020+), 90s and early 2000s (I couldn't narrow down a genre if you made me... love it all)
  • Beartown Trilogy, full stop: Fredrik Backman lets his characters tell the story instead of forcing them into a novel outline
🌱
What lights me up
  • Cheering for my boys at competitive sports (although they'd prefer I was quiet, I'm sure of it)
  • Singing and dancing uninhibited in the kitchen, the car, the bar, the school pick-up line: I call it Kristen Karaoke and they all just roll their eyes and laugh
  • Fall and spring: the colors and the birth of summer
  • Open windows and summer biergartens (the perfect combo)
